Phillip Johnson and John Burgee, PPG Place Pittsburgh, '79- 84

Its great post-war architecture but I love PPG Place because it was built during Pittsburgh's transformation from a city of unemployed steel workers to a city of pioneers in science and technology.. but not leaving behind that West PA 'tude.

My friend Amy is a master emoticon texter. She recently visited my apartment where we looked at lots of fabric and textile books, after which I started receiving text patterns.

"All My Greys"

These are some images from a group show I took part in at Knock Knock Gallery at the beginning of the summer, along with Lauren Elder, Brian Khek, Evan and Andre Lenox, and Micah Schippa. From the top: Evan and Andre Lenox (3D printed pelvises) and Micah Schippa (palm tree video and leopard-print weaving); Evan and Andre (video and laptop mount); Lauren Elder (video playing on Playstation 2 with attached video goggles); me; Brian Khek; and objects by Lauren, me, and Micah with a print by Micah in the background.
